Successful websites are more than placing your information and images onto a website. They require planning and a talented, educated Website Designer.

You must understand the following:

  1. Why you want a website? This could be because you want to show your potential customers an easier way to learn about your products and/or services.
  2. You must have a marketing plan. You must place your website address everywhere your business name appears, without telling people that you have a website address, you will not fullfil your goals for your website. Anyway what is the point of having a website, when noone knows about it. You should never rely 100% on search engines to fullfil your goals.
  3. The design is what works. Everyone knows that what attracts their attention is what works. The same applies to websites. The design is suppose to attract every user’s attention. Not every Website Designer can build a website which attracts potential customers’ attention. So employing the right Website Designer is crucial for your website’s success. Without an attractive design your website will fail.

The Internet is littered with websites which are built and designed in such the wrong way, it is wonder why the Website Designer bothers in the first place. If you want to be successful online, you must always use a talented Website Designer, otherwise your website may not work for you at all – they haven’t been to website design college and learnt nothing. A talented, educated Website Designer understands what works and what does work. It doesn’t take a Rocket Sciencist to work out that to be successful you must always use a professional. If you do it right it is bound to work for you.

Having a website address like this: ispname.com.au/~websitename, is considered unprofessional. A website address like this: abccatering.com is eye catching and easy to remember. Appartently a website address stands out better than a phone number because it is easier to remember.

A diy website stands out like a sore thumb. Diy websites usually cost more in the long term, than asking a professional Website Designer to build a website. Because diy websites don’t work just like cheap or free websites. What is the use of a website which does work?
